THE ONE THAT DIDN'T GET AWAY

Well... the Pleasure Way camper van I finally brought home is a 2005 Pleasure Way Excel TD, V8 with 47,000 miles.  I purchased it at Sunshine State RVs in Gainesville, Florida.  Used my Class C as a trade-in and with a substantial sum of cash the deal was made.

The twin beds were a must in my decision making process.

The two front seats swivel around to face the back.  There is a small round table that can be set up here.  There is also a larger table that sets up in the rear.

I have more counter space in this RV than I had in the larger Class C.  Of course I did have to sacrifice my large refrigerator/freezer.

The TV swivels.

Absolutely love this bathroom.  It holds all of the stuff I had in my larger bathroom in the Class C.

I almost lost my chance at this unit as there was a couple from New York looking at it who just moments after I agreed to the price had said to their salesman that they would buy it.  They were informed by my salesman that it had just sold.  Whew!!

  1. It looks perfect inside and out. My motor home is a 2006, and it was in the same condition. Nice to find a used rig that looks so good. I figure if they took good care of the inside and outside, they probably took good care of all the systems and the truck engine, too. So far that has been the case with mine and I've been living in it for 2.5 years. Here's to many happy miles in the Cajun Pleasure! :)

  2. I love it. I sure would love to get one. I really like the twin beds. I have never seen one with such a big bathroom either. That is really nice. Enjoy it and have many great travels.

  4. Welcome to the Class B club. I looked at a Pleasure Way 2005 on a Sprinter but am happy with the van I got. It is a real lesson in living with just enough but not too much. I love mine and I really love how easy it is to drive and maneuver,

    1. Hi C.J. Welcome to my blogs. Glad you enjoyed viewing my art. Yes, I will probably add a few hippy touches to the inside of the camper... just to make it my own. Thanks for stopping by.
